The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially scheduled the NEET UG 2026 exam for May 3, 2026. As per the latest updates, the admit cards are expected to be available for download on April 26, 2026.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall. It contains your roll number, allotted exam center, reporting time, and specific instructions for the day of the exam.

Steps to Download NEET 2026 Admit Card
Follow these simple steps to download your hall ticket from the official portal once it is live:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to the NTA NEET official portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
- Locate the Download Link: On the homepage, look for the link labeled “Download Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2026” under the ‘Candidate Activity’ section.
- Enter Your Credentials: You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your:
- Application Number
- Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Security Pin (as shown on the screen)
- Submit and View: Click the ‘Submit’ button. Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download and Print: Save the document as a PDF. Note: It is highly recommended to take at least two color printouts on A4-sized paper for clarity.
Details to Check on Your Admit Card
Once you download the file, verify the following details carefully. If you find any discrepancies, contact the NTA helpline immediately.
- Candidate’s Name and Date of Birth
- Roll Number and Application Number
- Category (Gen/OBC/SC/ST)
- Allotted Exam Center Name and Address
- Reporting Time and Gate Closing Time

What to Carry to the Exam Center
Along with your NEET Admit Card, you must carry the following items:
- Original Photo ID: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
- Passport Size Photo: One additional photograph (same as uploaded in the application) to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
- Postcard Size Photo: A 4″x6″ color photograph with white background must be pasted on the ‘Proforma’ (part of the admit card).
- PwD Certificate: If applicable.
Pro-Tip: Do not sign the admit card at home. You must sign it in the presence of the invigilator at the exam hall.
